Floyd G. Hash

Floyd G. Hash of Campbellsville, son of the late James Arthur Hash and Emma Jane Nelson Hash was born February 12, 1923 in Larue County, Kentucky. He died at 3:56 P.M., Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Campbellsville.  Age: 94 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army as a tank crewman and received The American Theater Ribbon, Purple Heart Medal, World War II Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal. He was a retired educator in the Taylor County School System. He united in marriage to Frances Hedgespeth December 25, 1945 and she preceded him in death December 4, 2009. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Loretta Hash of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Garin Hash and wife, Tammy and Griffin Hash and wife, Adrienne and four great-grandchildren: Austin Bradley Hash, Arren Michael Hash, Gracyne Rose Hash and William Seth Hash all of Campbellsville; three brothers-in law: Forster Hedgespeth and wife, Lula Mae, Lilburn Hedgespeth and wife, Eleanor and Ralph Hedgespeth and wife, Galoris of Campbellsville and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by nine brothers and one sister: William Franklin “Jim” Hash, Walter Earl Hash, Herbert Elmer Hash, Thomas Edison Hash, Carl Jackson Hash, Clarence Redmon Hash, Hershel A. Hash, Garnett Lee Hash, Claudie Hash and Ruth Erma Hash Thompson. _______________ VISITATION:  5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home FUNERAL SERVICE:    11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. James E.
