John David McKinley

John David McKinley of Campbellsville, son of the late Adolphus L. McKinley and Sue Kathryn Thomas McKinley, was born June 21, 1952, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:25 P.M., Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Louisville.      Age: 65 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church. John David was co-owner of McKinley Monument Company with his brother, Mark. When he wasn’t working in the family business he could be found at his cabin watching the deer or a Nascar race, out on the tractor or ATV enjoying the great outdoors, hunting or taking his grandchildren fishing, or at a family gathering grilling up something special for the ones he loved so dearly. He united in marriage to Missy Baker February 14, 2001. Besides his wife, Missy McKinley of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Sarah McKinley and Rachel Moss and husband, Curtis of Campbellsville; two step-sons: Casey Baker and wife, Jessica of Campbellsville and Cody Baker and wife, Ashley of Edmonton; seven grandchildren: McKinley Moss, Camden Moss, Case Baker, Wes Baker, Ty Farmer, Hunter Farmer and Cash Baker; one brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Vickie McKinley of Campbellsville; his mother-in-law, Betty Bennett of Campbellsville; one uncle, Bob Olt of Greensburg; two nieces and one nephew: Maggie Adams and husband, Kevin, Ellie McKinley and Simon Hedeen and wife, Karin; and many other relatives and friends.
