Ruby Clark

Ruby Clark of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willie Matt Dudgeon and Eva Mae Carroll Dudgeon, was born November 8, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:10 A.M., Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Campbellsville.  Age: 94  Ruby professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and dairy farmer and was said to get more milk from her cows because she would sing to them. As a homemaker, she raised six sons and one daughter. Quilting was one of many things that Ruby would do to care for and show her love for her family.  When wrapping up in one of her beautiful quilts, you not only feel the warmth she intended, but you can see the love she put into every stitch. She united in marriage to Gordon Clark August 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death, June 4, 2006. She is survived by one daughter and six sons and their spouses: Mary and Tommy Cox, Gerald and Janet Clark, Gordon Ray and Faye Clark, Tommy and Sharon Clark, Ricky and Ruthetta Clark, and Timmie and Karen Clark, all of Campbellsville and Donald and Brenda Clark of Corbin; ten grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; two step-great-grand-children; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Doug Clark and Laverne Sapp of Campbellsville and Buford Clark of Macon, Georgia; a special family friend, Jimmy Benningfield of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
