Tommie Jess Barnett

Tommie Jess Barnett of Campbellsville, son of the late William Thomas Barnett and Lizzie Powell Barnett, was born May 4, 1920 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 3:45 P.M., Monday, February 10, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 93He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Barnett?s Creek United Methodist Church.He was a retired farmer and construction worker.He united in marriage to Nellie Mills March, 1943. She preceded him in death August 24, 2011.He is survived by two daughters and one son: Donna Cox and husband, Tim of Campbellsville, Tina Estes and husband, Henry of Greensburg, Tom Barnett and wife, Diane of Lexington; son-in-law Kenneth Barnett of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by two daughters: Bonnie Barnett and Joan Fisher Ford, one brother and five sisters: Delmer Barnett and wife, Ethel, Della Burton, Pearl Brogan, Nona Scott and husband, Ray, Edna Patton and husband, Robert , Lorene Marshall and a sister at a young age.
