Rev. Marshall Sloan, Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Wallace Harvey Sloan and Linnia Myrtle Neal Sloan, was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee February 23, 1953. He died at 11:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Louisville. Age: 60He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Green County, where he was a former pastor. He united in marriage to Leta Harris October 4, 1974.Besides Leta Sloan, he is survived by two sons: Marshall Sloan, Jr. and wife, Angela of Auburn, Kentucky and Eric Sloan of Port Charlotte, Florida and ex-wife, Amanda Moore of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Blake Camp, Josh Camp, Ashley Sloan, Andrew Sloan, Matthew Sloan and Kaitlin Sloan; one sister, Rita Sparks and husband, Clarence of Dayton, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Sloan.
