Billy Joe Kerr

Billy Joe Kerr of Campbellsville, son of the late Will Joe Kerr and Barbara McMahan Kerr Murphy, was born October 12, 1953 in Quantico, Viriginia. He died at 7:33 P.M., Thursday, August 20, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 72

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Billy Joe was a retired logger and a World Champion Lumberjack.

He united in marriage to Sandra Quinn December 14, 1972 and she preceded him in death.

Billy Joe was a outgoing and charismatic person and enjoyed eating breakfast with the Cornerstone Crew. He loved spending time with his family, tractor pulling and riding around the farm.

He is survived by two daughters: Lyndi Hagan and Leann Kerr Bland of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Kelsi Bland, Mariah Cable, Jaxon Bland and RaiLee Hagan; five

great-grandchildren: Kinley Edelen, Wesson Edelen, Oaklin Begley, Abell Garrett and Knox Begley; one brother, John Kerr and wife, Donna of Campbellsville; two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Morris of Campbellsville and Randy Quinn and wife, Melinda of Knifley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Billy Joe was also preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Tyann Morris September 25, 2024.
