Bobby Edwards of Campbellsville, son of the late Pauline Smith Penn, was born April 4, 1948, in Washington County, Kentucky. He died at 2:45 P.M., Thursday, February 5, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 77

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.

Bobby was a retired employee of Tennessee Gas Pipeline.

Bobby was known for his work ethic and spreading his blessings to other people, even giving back to strangers he didn’t know. His favorite times were when his family was all together and spending time with them, especially his grandkids and great granddaughter.

He united in marriage to Emmie Garrett January 28, 1967.

Besides his wife, Emmie Edwards of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and one son: Shelly Young and husband, Troy of Campbellsville and Tommy Edwards and wife, Christa of Fisherville; three grandchildren: Alyssa Eastridge and husband, John of Campbellsville, Weston Young and fiance, Sam Jolly of Louisville and Blake Edwards of Fisherville; one great-granddaughter, Audrey Kate Eastridge, who Bobby called “Katie Bug”; one sister, Net Mattingly of Mt. Washington; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Bobby was also preceded in death by a sister, Jenny Carrier.

The family is holding a private memorial service in his honor by Troy Young, Rev. Dave Griesemer, and Gerald Gribbins.
