Buck Lewis of Campbellsville, son of the late Elmer Lee Lewis and Nona Ethel Underwood Lewis, was born November 1, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:02 A.M., Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 87

He had made a profession of faith in Christ.

Buck was a retired employee of Bourbon Cooperage in Lebanon.

He united in marriage to Wanda Thompson October 31, 1959 and she preceded him in death January 12, 2026.

Buck is survived by two daughters: Marilyn Smith and Donna Lee and husband, Mike of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Brett Sapp and wife, Gina, Clint Sapp and wife, Stefani, Casey Smith and wife, Bethany, Travis Smith and wife, Ashley, Levi Smith and wife, Berlyn of Campbellsville, Brittany Sargent and husband, Jeremy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Steven Lee and wife, Stacy of Lebanon and Nick Lee and wife, Kayleigh of Elizabethtown; fifteen great-grandchildren: Drew Sapp and wife, Addie, Blake Sapp, Aubrey Sapp, Owen Sapp, Maddox Smith, Kinley Smith, Caroline Smith, Easton Smith, Braxton Smith, Brayden Smith, Luke Sargent, Noah Sargent, Phoenix Lee, Rayna Taylor and Maddie Mattingly; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Buck was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Desten Smith; two brothers and two sisters: Ronald Lewis, Norman Lee Lewis, Nancy Giles and Shirley Bell.
