Carolyn Wethington of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Owsley Durham, Sr. and Mattie Mudd Durham, was born November 16, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:48 P.M., Monday, June 23, 2025 in Louisville. Age: 88
She professed faith in Christ and was a faithful follower and proclaimer of Christ throughout her life. Carolyn was an example to her children, friends and anyone she encountered. She was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church, The Search Lighters Sunday School Class and The Challenge Missionary Society.
Carolyn was a retired bookkeeper and secretary with the Campbellsville High School. She was a kind and helpful resource to the students who fondly remember her from their days at CHS.
She united in marriage to William Allen (Bill) Wethington June 8, 1958.
Besides her husband, Bill Wethington of Campbellsville, Carolyn is survived by three sons: Van Wethington and wife, Jennifer of Bowling Green, Scott Wethington and significant other, Vanessa Lyons, of Campbellsville and Chris Wethington and wife, Candy of Glasgow; two granddaughters: Grace Wethington and Taylor Wethington Kingery and husband, James; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Carolyn was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas Russell Wethington and six siblings.
