Corine Dobson

Corine Dobson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Gordon and Mattie Lee Pierce Coomer, was born September 26, 1934 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 9:55 A.M. Friday, November 6, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 92

She united in marriage to Howard Dobson, Sr. December 25, 1953 and he preceded her in death September 26, 2026.

Corine was a devoted wife. She spent her time working with her husband, Howard, Sr., in any business he was running at the time.

Corine is survived by one son and three daughters: Howard Dobson Jr. and wife, Jenny, Brenda Goodin and husband, Gary, and Deloris Sapp all of Campbellsville and Linda Adkins and husband, Richard of Greensburg; six grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson and husband, Alex, Jessica Lile and husband, Brent, Kara Yocum and fiancé, Brandon Gowdy all of Campbellsville, Darrell Sapp of Naples, Florida, James Adkins and wife, Jennifer and Michael Adkins and wife, Whitney, both of Greensburg; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Robert Coomer and wife, Betty and Velma Atwood and husband, Gene of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Corine was also preceded in death by three sisters: Regina Hoots, Mildred Richardson McGinnis and Eleveda Geraldine McGinnis.
