Darrell Hunt

Darrell Hunt of Campbellsville, son of the late Oliver Hunt and Elva Hunt, was born October 17, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:39 A.M., Monday, June 15, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 91

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. Darrell was also an active member with the Gideons International for many years.

He was a retired butcher with several different grocery stores.

Darrell united in marriage to Nancy Burress September 12, 1938 and she preceded him in death December 18, 2022.

He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports.

Darrell is survived by three daughters: Donna Faulkner and husband, Scott and Cindy Hunt of Campbellsville and Allison Hunt and husband, Thomas Bowen of Bellingham, Washington; two grandsons: Chris Faulkner and Zack Faulkner and wife, Baylee of Campbellsville; one step-grandson, T. J. Bowen of Bellingham, Washington; one sister, Mildred Wise and husband, Carl of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
