Everet “Tommy” Wright of Campbellsville, son of the late William Everet Wright and Pansy Estelle Mitchell Wright, was born December 4, 1947 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 5:56 P.M., Monday, September 14, 2026 in Louisville. Age: 78
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Tommy was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Marines.
Tommy was a retired truck driver.
He united in marriage to Ruby Brown December 17, 1966.
Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Besides his wife, Ruby Wright of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Mitch Wright and wife, Amy of Bowling Green and Michelle Porter and husband, Barry of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Brandon Porter and wife, Toni and Matthew Porter of Campbellsville, Taylor Beal and husband, Cameron, Payton Wright and Chloe Wright and fiancee’, Will Gaddis of Bowling Green; five great-grandchildren: Brady Beal, Caroline Beal, Lane Porter, Addi Porter and Carson Porter and many other relatives and friends. Tommy was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Leslie Wright and Nell Wright.
