Frances Griffin Benningfield

Frances Griffin Benningfield of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edwin Griffin and Susie Caulk Griffin, was born in Campbellsville and died at 3:15 A.M., Sunday, April 16, 2023 in Campbellsville. She professed her faith in Christ and was a dedicated member of Elkhorn Methodist Church for more than fifty-eight years. Frances was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom where she was the second shift cafeteria manager. She loved being with her family and was always ready for a road trip. She enjoyed her flowers and began each day with two chocolate kisses; she had quite a sweet tooth. Frances was a fifty-eight year cancer survivor. She united in marriage to Nolan Herald Benningfield July 13, 1965 and he preceded her in death December 12, 1996. Frances is survived by one son and one daughter: John Benningfield and wife, Debbie and Nola Gaddis and husband, Ritchie of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jessica Childs and husband, Rich, Faith Gaddis and Joshua Gaddis; one great-grandson, Jonathan Coppage; one daughter-in-law, Helen Benningfield and many other relatives and friends.
