Janet Osborne

Janet Osborne of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Benjamin Hicks and Essie Faye Hayes Hicks, was born June 24, 1938 in Boone, North Carolina. She died at 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Greensburg. Age: 84 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. Janet was a devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. She provided childcare for many children when she was younger and enjoyed playing outside and going fishing with them and her grandchildren. She united in marriage to Darrell Osborne August 10, 1958 and he preceded her in death October 12, 2002. Janet is survived one son and one daughter: Jerry Osborne and wife, LaDonna, and Mary Rogers and husband, Gary of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jordan Osborne and wife, Hayli, and Austin Osborne and wife, Rachel of Campbellsville; and Samantha Ward and husband, Kyle of Campbellsville; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Loyde Hicks and wife, Delores of Carrollton, Georgia, and Ruth Greer and husband, Dwight of Knifley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters: Lewis Hicks, Leona Cable, Bennie Warren, Earlene Bright Holtzclaw and Gertrude Bright. ________________ VISITATION: 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 2, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 2, 2023, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
