Janice L. Sallee of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Val Veatch and Annie Lee Shipp Veatch, was born October 23, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:25 A.M., Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Columbia. Age 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church, but had been attending Pitman Valley Baptist Church.
Janice was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. After retirement, she raised English Shepherd dogs and loved traveling to sell them.
She united in marriage to James Delmer Sallee February 6, 1954 and he preceded her in death October 14, 2024. Janice is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Luke Williams of Campbellsville; one grandson, Blake Wright and significant other, Ashley Presthus of Raywick; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandson, Laker Wright; six step-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Carl Veatch and Billy Veatch and wife, Mary Ann; one sister-in-law, Faye Veatch of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Janice was also preceded in death by two brothers: William Lee Veatch and David Louis “Buck” Veatch and two sisters in infancy: Mary Ann Veatch and Linda Faye Veatch.
