Jimmie Benningfield

Jimmie Benningfield of Campbellsville, son of the late Broadus Benningfield and Martha Forrest Benningfield, was born February 16, 1953 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:40 A.M., Friday, January 2, 2026 in Campbellsville.  Age: 72

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Jimmie was a farmer and enjoyed working on his farm. He loved spending time with his family and neighbors.

He is survived by one son and one daughter: Benjamin Benningfield and wife, Brooke of Campbellsville and Jennie Conner and husband, Tony of Versailles; four grandchildren: Ellyson Conner, Isabella Benningfield, Luke Benningfield and Ty Conner; two brothers and two sisters: Billie Benningfield, Clyde Benningfield and wife, Bonnie and Bettie Bright of Campbellsville and Mattie Burton of Bardstown; his “Main Squeeze”: Ann Beard; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Jimmie was also preceded in death a daughter, Judy Ann Benningfield June 14, 2000.
