Jody Yates of Campbellsville, son of the late Eddie Lee Yates and Rinnia Sanders Yates, was born January 18, 1946 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 7:53 P.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 79

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church.

He was an employee of Fruit of the Loom for several years in Campbellsville.

Jody united in marriage to Sue Newcomb November 19, 1965.

Jody loved to hunt and collect his treasures.

Besides his wife, Sue Yates of Campbellsville, Jody is survived by two sons and two daughters: Ronnie Yates and wife, Mia, John Yates and wife, Joye, Dana Warren and husband, Wes and Gina Sapp and husband, Brett of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Tyler Yates, Chanci Yates, Hunter Yates, Drew Sapp, Blake Sapp, Shelbie Mackie, Dillan Thompson, Natalie Warren and Mikayla Warren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Jody was also preceded in death by two sisters: Judy Yates and Diane Kiethley.
