Karen Jane Richerson

Karen Jane Richerson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Sherwood Sanders and Exzilda Jane Wethington Sanders, was born January 14, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:57 A.M., Saturday, September 5, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 79

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic Faith.

She was a retired 35 year Loan Officer at Farm Credit Services.

She is survived by her son, Mark Richerson and wife, Meaghan of Vine Grove; two grandchildren: Luke Richerson of Louisville, and Clayton Lewis and wife, Ashlee of Plainfield, Indiana; one great-grandchild, Willow Lewis; one brother and two sisters: James Byron Sanders and wife, Wanda of Campbellsville, Marsha Rhea Spires and husband, Tommy of Louisville and Freida Lynn Sandidge of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Lyle Sanders and a brother-in-law, Carl C. Sandidge II.
