Lera Ann Sprowles

Lera Ann Sprowles of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Thomas Sharp and Hallie Milby Sharp, was born October 26, 1941 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 3:22 A.M., Monday, October 19, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 84

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of 3 Trees.

She united in marriage to Glevins Sprowles April 6, 1961.

Lera was a loving wife and mom and enjoyed all of her grandbabies and great-grandbabies. She also enjoyed reading her Bible.

Besides her husband, Glevins Sprowles of Campbellsville, Lera is survived by one son and one daughter: Steve Sprowles and wife, Michelle and Lisa Gupton and husband, Ronnie of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Brandon Gupton and wife, Jennifer, Jade Gupton Sanders and husband, Neil, Blake Sprowles and wife, Ashley and Lexi Turpin and husband, Brady; five great-grandchildren: Drake Sanders, Dawson Sanders, Gentry Turpin, Chandler Turpin and Tripp Sprowles; one brother, Jimmie Sharp and wife, Donnetta of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Lera was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: Virgil Sharp, Elwood Sharp, Bill Sharp, David Sharp, Riley Sharp, Geraldine Myers, Christine Milby and Florine Colvin.
