Lonnie Spear

Lonnie Spear of Elizabethtown, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Miley B. Spear and Orbazine Barnett Faulkner, was born January 1, 1949 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:50 P.M., Monday, August 31, 2026 in Elizabethtown. Age: 77

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon.

Lonnie was a retired employee of Parker-Kalon after thirty-two years of service.

He united in marriage to Cathy Farmer May 5, 1972.

Besides his wife, Cathy Spear of Elizabethtown, Lonnie is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ritchie Jenkins of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren: Matthew Jenkins, Michael Jenkins and Alexandria Jenkins; two sisters: Linda Richerson of Campbellsville and Brenda Argo of Norman, Oklahoma; one half-brother, Otis Puryear of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Lonnie was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronnie Spear and Vestal Spear.
