Lula Mae Bell passed away at 8:20 A.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Campbellsville. Born on October 16, 1925, she was 97 years old. She united in marriage to Raymond Bell on April 29, 1944. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church then attended Yuma Baptist Church with her son when she became unable to drive. She is survived by one son, Larry Kent Bell, and his wife, Ellen and three grandchildren: Laura McWilliams of Lancaster, Ky., Aaron Marples of Campbellsville, Ky. and Joanne Jansen of Louisville, Ky.; three great-grandchildren: Emily Mach and Sophia McWilliams of Lancaster, Ky., and Genevieve McWilliams of Texas. She is survived by one brother, Billy Rainwater (Bernice) and one sister, Barbara Skaggs (Donald). She also leaves behind two dear friends, Kay DeMurray and Shirley Murphy. Lula Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, who passed away on June 29, 2009 and by her parents, Ras and Lillian Ford Rainwater; also four brothers – Ernest, J.D., Gordon and Kenneth Rainwater, and three sisters – Madeline Cave, Helen Sharpe, and Rosaline Sprowles. _______________ VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 28, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
