Maurice Lakin "Mo" Dix

Maurice Lakin “Mo” Dix of Campbellsville, son of the late Dean D. Dix and Mabel F. Hunt Dix, was born August 13, 1950 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:04 A.M., Friday, August 14, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 76

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church.

Maurice was a retired Certified Public Accountant.

He united in marriage to Nancy McLean in April of 1989.

Maurice enjoyed golfing with the liar’s club, but loved nothing more than watching his grandchildren play sports.

Besides his wife, Nancy McLean-Dix of Campbellsville, Maurice is survived by one son and two daughters: John McLean and wife, Farrah, Mary McLean Sapp and husband, Greg and Melissa Dix Williams and husband, Randy of Campbellsville; seven great-grandchildren: Clay McLean, Cole McLean, Carlee McLean, Ethan Sapp, Christian Williams and wife, Jill, Haley Williams and Nikki Burton and many other relatives and friends.
