Nancy O'Banion

Nancy O’Banion of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Stanley G. Matney and Lillie Frances Risen Matney, was born April 22, 1947 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 5:25 A.M., Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 79

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.

Nancy worked as an in home childcare provider.

She united in marriage to Harold Lewis O’Banion July 22, 1972 and he preceded her in death August 21, 2020.

Nancy is survived by three daughters: Kimberly Rogers Ward and husband, James and Kelli O’Banion Bertram and husband, Allan of Campbellsville, and Shelli O’Banion Wilson and husband, Chris of Crestwood; four grandchildren: Cameron Wilson of Bowling Green, Chandler Wilson of Crestwood, Sydney Elizabeth Bertram Jacobs and husband, Sebastian of Lexington and Madison Nicole Bertram of Campbellsville; one sister, Shirley Marcum and husband, Tommy of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Nancy was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Driver.
