Patty Mays of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Berry Tincher and Tessie Jean Ramsey Tincher, was born March 11, 1953, in Bourbon County, Kentucky. She died at 5:33 A.M., Monday, August 17, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 73

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith

Patty was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in fishing, camping and cooking for the people she loved. Her greatest happiness came from having her family all together under one roof, where she could fill the home with laughter, love and a home-cooked meal. Feeding and caring for her family was one of the ways Patty expressed her love, and she cherished every moment spent together.

She united in marriage to Joe Mays October 11, 1988, who survives.

Besides her husband, Joe Mays of Campbellsville, Patty is survived by four sons and one daughter: Mike Mays and wife, Lora of Campbellsville, Ricky Mays and wife, Britt of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Weldon Riggs and wife, Tiffiany of Naples, Florida, Timmy Mays and wife, Rasmey of Campbellsville, and Natessa Jones and husband, Kevin of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Preston Riggs, Audrey Mays, Larry Jones, Hayden Jones, Elliot Mays, and Max Mays; three great-grandchildren: Avery Edelen, Ace Edelen, and Archie Edelen; two brothers and one sister: Benny Tincher and wife, Jeanie of Owensboro, Craig Tincher of Lexington, and Latonya Mann and husband, Brian of Louisville; a special niece, Hannah Brown and her children, Peyton, Harrison, and Tucker Brown; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Van Tincher.
