Robert Edelen

Robert Edelen of Campbellsville, son of the late George Edelen and Inis Morgan Edelen, was born June 3, 1943 in Spurlington, Kentucky. He died at 6:43 A.M., Thursday, April 30, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 82

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Faith Alive Ministries.

Robert was a retired employee of Independent Stave Company – Kentucky Cooperage in Lebanon and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

He united in marriage to Barbara Sallee August 25, 1980.

Besides his wife, Barbara Edelen of Campbellsville; Robert is survived by two sons and three daughters: Tessa Lewis and husband, William of Springfield, Allen Cox of Florida, Elizabeth Veatch and husband, Donald of Lebanon, Cathy Null and husband, Mathew of Bunker Hill, Illinois, and David Cox of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Davis of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Robert was also preceded in death a grandson, Russell Veatch and three brothers and three sisters: James Edelen, Clarence Edelen, Johnny Edelen, Dorothy Edelen, Clara Edelen and Jewell Edelen.
