Ruth Mae Wade of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Elmer Perkins and Lennie Dudgeon Perkins, was born July 2, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:35 A.M., Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in McMinnville, Tennessee. Age: 93 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. Ruth was a retired cafeteria manager with the Taylor County School System. She united in marriage to E. Wade February 2, 1945 and he preceded her in death. Ruth loved UK basketball and quilting, her family and church. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Laura Wade of McMinnville, Tennessee; one daughter-in-law, Sheila Wade Sinclair and husband, Eddie of Summersville; three grandchildren: Angela Wallace and husband, Steve of Somerset, Chad Wade and wife, Jamie of Mt. Washington and Marty Wade and wife, Ashley of Jeffersontown; four great-grandchildren: Katie Johnston and husband, Ben of Campbellsville, Isabella Wade of Mt. Washington, Alex Brockman of Nashville and Braelyn Wallace of Somerset; two great-great-grandchildren: Kynlie Johnston and Campbell Johnston of Campbellsville; special niece, Connie Wilson and husband, Danny of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter: Bobby Gene Wade March 9, 2015 and Tammy Wade King March 20, 2019 and a brother, W. G.
