Shirley Chelf of Elk Horn, daughter of the late Lloyd Burress and Molly Seaborne Burress, was born April 16, 1935, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:23 A.M., Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Elk Horn.         Age: 83 She professed faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg Church of God since it first opened Shirley was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She united in marriage to Richard E. Chelf September 22, 1960. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to all. Besides her husband, Richard E. Chelf of Elk Horn, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Kenneth Chelf and significant other, Tiffany Cox of Elk Horn and Kathy Evans and husband, Jerry of Mt. Sherman; four grandchildren: Casey Chelf of Knifley, Ashley Chelf Nelson and husband, Joe and Zachary Chelf of Elk Horn and Steven Evans of Mt. Sherman; six great-grandchildren: Anden Jensen, Addison Nelson, Kyler Jensen, Ansley Nelson, Finleigh Chelf and Carson Nelson; one brother and two sisters: Bobby Burress and wife, Dorothy, Christine Wise and Loretta Gaddis of Elk Horn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Evans and three brothers and two sisters: Lester Burress, Harold Burress, Walter Sam Burress, Edna Lee Burress Herron and Lillie Marie Burress Poynter Woodrum. _______________ VISITATION:  5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home FUNERAL SERVICE:            11:00 A.M., Friday, October 5, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Bro.
