SUZANNE “SUSIE” CROWDER

Suzanne “Susie” Crowder of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rev. Dorris Gene Crowder and Mabel Naomi Septer Crowder, was born May 1, 1970 in Henderson County, Kentucky. She died at 5:39 P.M., Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 56

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where she faithfully served on the graphic design and social media team. Suzanne started her career as the Kentucky state children’s librarian, then went into the Public School System. She had a heart for children and literature and used that passion to serve as librarian with many schools, eventually retiring from Campbellsville Elementary School. Throughout her life, Suzanne always thought about others and how she could make their lives better.

Suzanne is survived by two sisters: Cyndi Chadwick and husband, Les of Campbellsville and Mary Crowder Bland of Bardstown; one niece and two nephews: Kendall Lyvers and husband, Cody and Andrew Bland and Hayden Bland; two great-nephews: Graham Lyvers and Micah Lyvers and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joseph Bland.
