Talmond J. "Pete" Pierce

Talmond J. “Pete” Pierce of Campbellsville, son of the late Vernon P. Pierce and Effie Blankenship Pierce, was born March18, 1941 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 12:06P.M., Friday, June 19, 2026 in Elizabethtown. Age: 85

He served his country honorably in the Army National Guard and Reserves

Pete was a farmer and retired employee of Cox Interior.

He united in marriage to Sue Benningfield April 30, 1983.

Pete was a great husband. He enjoyed fishing and working in his garden.

Besides his wife, Sue Pierce of Campbellsville, Pete is survived by one step-daughter, Paige Gibson and husband, Troy of Campbellsville; one step-granddaughter, Candace Gibson and fiancé, Tanner Cox; and his nieces and nephews: Gary Houk, Vonda Reynolds, Vickie Harmon, Greg Houk, Vanessa Warren and David Pierce and many other relatives and friends.
