Thelma Grimes of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Everett Sprowles and Rhea Beard Sprowles, was born November 5, 1933 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:18 P.M., Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 90 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. Thelma was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a homemaker. She united in marriage to Woodrow Grimes September 5, 1951 and he preceded her in death December 22, 2006. Thelma is survived by two daughters: Cindy Crain and husband, Joe of Gainesville, Georgia and Patricia Veatch of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Dalton Robertson of Gainesville, Georgia, Troy Veatch of Campbellsville and Travis Veatch and wife, Jenny of White House, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Thelma was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Dencil Sprowles, Herman Keith Sprowles, James Sprowles, Mattie Durham and Arvella Kearnes. _________________ GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens in Campbellsville by Rev.
