Willard Lee Wise

Willard Lee Wise of Campbellsville, son of the late Willard Lindsey Wise and Delma Octavie Goodin Wise, was born March 3, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:42 P.M., Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Lexington. Age 78

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.

Willard was a retired employee of GTE. He later worked for Lewis Transport and hauled gas for Bill Collins Oil.

He united in marriage to Angie Janes December 21, 1995.

Willard enjoyed fishing, farming and working. Besides his wife, Angie Wise of Campbellsville, Willard is survived by one daughter and one son: LeAnne Underwood and Daron Vaughn and wife, Kellie of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Jordan Morgan and husband, Cody and Kallie Grace Vaughn; two great-grandchildren: Jackson Tyler Morgan and Tinslee Cole Morgan; one brother and one sister: Winfrey Lewis Wise and wife, Kathy and Leoda Watson and husband, Roger of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Willard was also preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Gladys Roberts.
