Benny Read

Benny Read of Campbellsville, son the late Joseph Bentley “Joe” Read and Nora Crews Read, was born October 12, 1939 in Taylor County, Ky. He died at 2:00 A.M., Friday, October 16, 2020 in Greensburg. Age: 81 Benny enjoyed farming in his younger years and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by two brothers and five sisters: John Read and wife, Sharon, Larry Read, Deloris Jeffries, Edna Read, Josie Osborne, Evalene Read, and Linda Smith. Benny was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Robert Read, William “Zeke” Sapp, Lee Read, Rosaline Read, Catherine Read, and Norma Jean Read. _____________ GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Elk Horn Cemetery by Rev.
