Dorothy Pierce of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ray Spratt and Annie Ermine Skaggs Spratt, was born May 4, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 91 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher’s aid with the Taylor County School System. Dorothy was also a former volunteer with the Taylor Regional Hospital Auxiliary for more than thirty years and loved to travel at every opportunity. Dorothy united in marriage to Bill Pierce December 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death January 21, 2000. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Johnny Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee; two grandsons: Tommy Grammer and wife, Corday Rice of Arlington, Washington and Robbie Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one great-granddaughter, Lilli Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee; special cousin who was like a sister, Mary Helen Sprowles of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
