George Morris

George Morris of Campbellsville, son of the late Rollin Orbia Morris and Clara Neat Morris was born August 11, 1930 in Middletown, Ohio. He died at 11:00 P.M., Friday, June 17, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 91 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. George was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Kentucky Utilities after some thirty years of service. He was an avid fisherman. George united in marriage to Patricia Reynolds July 16, 1951. Besides his wife, Pat Morris of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Sharon Lee and husband, Henry and Janet Deener and husband, John of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Richard Scott Deener of Campbellsville, Marsha Deener Warren and husband, Eric of Richmond and Corey Lee Shultz and husband, Tanner of Lexington; four great-grandchildren: Ethan Warren, Eli Warren, Evie Warren and Henry Shultz; two brothers: Orbie Rollin Morris and wife, Nancy of Louisville and Robert “Bobby” Morris and wife, Polly of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
