Kay Lou Lee

Kay Lou Lee of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Virgil Edward Conley and Marsha Mae Mosher Conley, was born October 5, 1936 in Ingham County, Michigan.  She went to her eternal heavenly home at 1:19 P.M., Saturday, September 28, 2019 at her residence in Campbellsville, KY, at the age of 82. Kay professed faith in Christ in 1954 and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church and was previously active at The Rock Community Worship Center.   Her greatest accomplishment in life, second only to her strong faith in Jesus Christ, was her family, each of whom she prayed for daily by name and in whom she instilled that same strong faith. She was a retired librarian at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. She united in marriage to Dr. Philip M. Lee July 3, 1954 and he preceded her in death February 15, 2009.   She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Cynthia Kay Purdy and husband, Jerry of Collierville, Tennessee; Donald W. Lee and wife, Sharon of Memphis, Tennessee; Christine Sooriya-Arachchi and husband, Gamini of Campbellsville; and John David Lee and wife, Alison of Olive Branch, Mississippi; twelve grandchildren: thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Kay was also preceded in death by a son, David James Lee and a brother, Terry L.
