Mary Aileen Colvin

Mary Aileen Colvin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late W. D. “Bill” Melton and Hattie Colvin Melton, was born December 5, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:40 A.M., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 94 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Kenneth Colvin June 20, 1943 and he preceded her in death October 28, 2016. Mary Aileen enjoyed working in her flowers and cooking for her family. She also loved children and had babysat for many children in her home. She is survived by two daughters: Joyce Colvin and Paula Hunt of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Michelle Milby and Kenneth Allen Colvin of Summersville, David Michael Colvin of Shepherdsville, Angela Butler and Sheila Taylor of Columbia and Travis Hunt of Campbellsville; eight great-grandchildren: Michael Aaron Colvin, Meredith Ann Colvin, Addison Grace Colvin, Scarlet Elizabeth Colvin, Casey Renee Colvin, Dustin Lee Milby, Joshua Darin Taylor and Kyle Butler; one sister-in-law, Lois Melton of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
