Paula Shively of Campbellsville, daughter of the late G. T. Leach, Sr. and Ina Hurt Leach, was born July 7, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:46 A.M., Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 81 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Paula enjoyed going to yard sales and visiting her friends. She stayed busy even after having worked forty-two years at Fruit of the Loom and went to work at the Dollar General Store, Goodwill Industries and volunteered at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home when needed. She loved her daughter but the grandsons were her true treasures. Paula also loved animals; especial her cat, Katie and she would often pet set for her daughter and grandsons pets. She united in marriage to Leo Shively July 23, 1960 and he preceded her in death May 18, 1987. She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Gabehart (Jimmy) of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Storme “Bear” Gabehart (Missy) and Patric Gabehart; two sisters-in-law: Margie Leach and Juanita Dudgeon (Joe) of Campbellsville; one nephew, Brian Leach and wife, Michelle of Campbellsville; special niece, Kathy Clark of Campbellsville; one great-niece, Brianne Mingey and husband, Seth of Fayetteville, North Carolina; very special friends: Naomi Paxton and Wanda Merritt of Campbellsville; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother, G. T. Leach December 11, 2016. ______________ AS MANDATED BY THE GOVERNOR, SERVICES WILL BE PRIVATE.
